The South Dakota Outdoor Shop was bought in 2020 by Bobbi and Jeremy Schmidt in hopes of sharing their love for the outdoors and the Black Hills. The shop offers outdoor clothing from brands such as Prana, Mountain Hardwear, Outdoor Research, and many more. Our goal is to provide you with all the tools and gear necessary to have a safe and fun time outside!

The Outdoor Shop is more than just a place to grab gear, it is also an opportunity to hang out and connect with people who share an adventurous spirit. We have an assortment of local beers and non-alcoholic options in the cooler, we carry four local beers and kombucha on tap too! We offer this space for people to share advice on hiking and climbing routes, connect with their community, and just have a great time!
